These Cometic gaskets are specifically made to withstand the demands of high-performance engines.
The basic gaskets are characterized by a multi-layered .030" stainless steel structure, with embossed sealing rings and a coating on each side of the upper seal.
A groove at each corner of the base gasket discharges each of the four chambers all the outside.
The grooves discharge the chambers, completing the expansion cycle and contraction of the air trapped in the chamber when the engine heats up and cools.
The embossed design combined with the notches virtually eliminates oil leaks on the basic seals.
